The Dubai Police are well known for their fleet of luxury cars being used as everyday patrol cars. They continually add to the already impressive fleet with more expensive, faster cars.
Their new addition, a 2018 Bentley Bentayga, is one of the most luxurious cars in the world. The car with a 12-cylinder, 6.0-litre engine, can achieve 0 to 100kmph in 4.1 seconds and can accelerate to a top speed of 301kmph, making it the world’s fastest SUV has been decked with a computer for operational control and a special radar to catch traffic violations.
The car was a gift from Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor, vice-chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, as the Police launch their new corporate identity. The cars received by Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation Affairs, and Brigadier Mohammed Rashid bin Sirai Al Muhairi, deputy director of the general department of criminal investigation, will will join the fleet patrols of the Dubai Police.
Major-General Al Mansouri thanked Al Habtoor Group for its efforts in highlighting the cultural role of the Dubai Police in serving the community.
Al Habtoor affirmed that giving the luxury car to the Dubai Police comes under the group’s strategy to cooperate with various government institutions and support their efforts to make Dubai a better place to live in. “The Dubai Police have progressed in various fields through these years and handle issues with professionalism, making it a role model in the world in term of advancement,” he added.
