Human rights activist and Convener of ‘Concerned Nigerians’, Deji Adeyanju, has cut ties with the ‘OurMumuDonDo’ movement led by Charles Oputa (a.k.a. Charly Boy), alleging that Charly Boy betrayed both him and their cause which led to his loss of confidence in the group.

According to various media sources, Deji adeyanju sent a text message saying;

“Dear Nigerians, I have resigned my membership of OurMumuDonDo. I no longer have confidence in the leader of the movement, Charly Boy. He betrayed the cause while I was away in prison and compromised with the oppressors,”

OurMumuDonDo, a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) with the support of Adeyanju and the Concerned Nigerians group, have championed several human and societal rights crusades, protests and activities.

These movements have put them in the frontline of the fight against corruption and injustice in public offices.

However, Adeyanju has been arrested several times having been accused of murder and other offences many believed were false accusations.

Deji Adeyanju regained his freedom from Kano Central Prison after 78 days of controversial incarceration, following his arrest by the police on December 13, 2018.
